I've only gone and done it...

...signed up for the Dart10k that is. The Dart 10k was the first, and is (according to the Outdoor Swimming Society) the finest 10k swim in open water on the calendar. This year is it’s seventh year and it has grown from 200 swimmers to around 1600. It's a fantastic swim from the town of Totnes down the Dart estuary to Dittisham. The course is marked not by inflatable buoys but by landmarks - the Cormorant Tree, the white rock, Sharpham boat house and Bow Creek. As ever it's supported by volunteers from the local and swimming communities which make it not only a great swim, but a great day out!

I do promise to iron my trunks for the occassion!
