"Another Fine Mess"

I just spent a delightful week on holiday reading Tim Moores' "Another Fine Mess". He usually writes about bonkers bike trips, so I invariably find him terrific value for money and firmly up there on my fantasy dinner guest list. But this book was different and bloody compelling.

Utterly befuddled by Trumps presidency, he decides to drive across the states, working his way through the Rust belt and Republican heartlands in a 1924 Model T Ford. (Some 6000 miles) His objective was to work out who and why would anyone vote for such a guy. The relationship between the car, it's history and modern day US politics is cracking. Lots of folks that look like these two in there as well..
